Middle School Retreat -- October 2021
Each fall, we provide a retreat for our middle school students. These weekends are full of fun and give opportunity for lots of games and meaningful discussion on our theme. See the poster below for more information on this Fall's retreat! 
Day Trips
Every summer, we set aside a day for an awesome time together. Trips include days in Hershey Park, hikes, the zoo, and so many others! 
Fifth Quarters and
Open Gyms Join us occasionally after some Chambersburg home football games for some open-gym style fun! We'll also have board game, video game, and food stations too! There's something for everyone! During other times in the year, we will open up our gym for some games like dodge ball, basketball, and more! Lock-In -- January 7-8, 2022

Mission Trip -- Summer 2022
Every summer, we participate in a mission trip to emphasize the importance of serving others in need. We travel both near and far, with past trips to places like Philadelphia, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, and more. 
Impact -- July 2022
One of our favorite events of the year. A 5-day camping trip filled with worship, games, food, spiritual growth, and fellowship. Put on by Salt 'n Light Youth Ministries. Contact us or visit their site for more information -- http://snlym.com/events-ministries/impact/ Fall Fest -- September 2022
A night to celebrate the start of a new school year -- but also a new ministry year. Awesome food. Huge inflatables. Lots of fun!

Winter - Spring

8.1.2. Retreat -- February 18-20, 2022
Our annual retreat (for grades 8-12) takes us for a weekend to Mt. Asbury Retreat Center in Newville. This year, we are going to explore the theme, "Trees" over the weekend through 4 awesome sessions, enjoy small group discussions, tasty food provided by Mt. Asbury staff, and plenty of time for fellowship and games!

Christmas Party
December 2021 Enjoy an "elegant" Christmas dinner in our youth room, participate in a gag gift exchange, and play some Christmas-themed games! Don't forget to wear your ugly Christmas sweaters!

Wednesday Nights
Our main time together as a group. We meet mostly every Wednesday throughout the year from 6:00-8:00pm at the church. This time usually includes some hang-out time, snacks, announcements, a lesson, small group discussions, and a game in our gym. If there is a Wednesday we are not meeting, you can find out here first! Confirmation
For any student 7th grade and up, confirmation is a class where you further explore your faith and what it means to be a part of the United Methodist Church. Each student picks a mentor and they attend retreats and classes together throughout the year. At the end of Confirmation, students have the option of joining our church. If you would like to participate in our next Confirmation class, be sure to contact our youth minister for further information. We currently provide this opportunity every other year. Sunday School
We meet every Sunday up in our youth room from 10-10:45 for Sunday School. Creative Arts
Love to sing in a choir, or on a praise team? Have an instrument you want to play? Or maybe you want to explore your gifts in acting, video editing, dancing, audio/visual, art, and more! If you are interested in any of these things, contact us, and we will share opportunities to use these gifts! Please contact us if you are interested! |
